Matt Aird Addresses Rotary Concerning Protection of Financial Assets

McKENZIE (October 21) — Matt Aird of Lewis and Aird Associates, was the featured speaker at the meeting of the McKenzie Rotary Club on October 21.
Mr. Aird spoke about individuals, families and businesses protecting their assets and building wealth.
The speech concerned strengthening one’s assets through life insurance, systematic saving money through a working career, planning for tax consequences, and placing one’s major assets inside a protective trust.
Lewis and Aird works with clients to assess their financials and works to help the client accumulate money. Aird recommended families create a will or trust to assure the transfer of wealth and assets upon death.
Lewis and Aird practices a protection-first philosophy, leveraging partners such as Penn Mutual, Legacy Locker for estate organization, Student Loan Tutor for repayment optimization, and Churchill Mortgage for reverse mortgages.
The company also works with businesses to help them with their finances or to help determine the company’s value when it is time to sell.
He also mentioned programs to help provide forgiveness from federal student loans.
McKenzie Rotary Club meets each Tuesday noon at the Vera Low Center on the campus of Bethel University.
