McKenzie Bands Present Spring Concert

McKENZIE (May 13) — The McKenzie Band Program presented its spring concert Tuesday in the McKenzie High School gymnasium.

The concert featured performances by the McKenzie Middle School Sixth Grade Beginning Band, the MMS Seventh/Eighth Grade Intermediate Band and the MHS Concert Band and Color Guard.

The eclectic program of musical pieces was conducted by Director of Bands Daniel Capua.

The Beginning Band performed "When the Saints Go Marching In" and "Skysplitter Fanfare".

The Intermediate Band performed "Darklands March", "Resilience" and "Scorpion".

The MHS Concert Band and Color Guard performed "Into the Clouds", "Benediction", "Capstone March", "Skyfall", "The Magnificent Seven" and "Great Movie Adventures". The color guard performed a routine to "Constellation".

The Beginning Band includes Brooklyn Andrews, Alice Gallimore, Brooke Harris, Callie Sevick, Malcolm Evans, Allie Ochoa, Kiya Priddy, Genevieve Phipps, Gavin Scott, Annabelle Bobb, Miranda Hood, Xander Morgan, Evelyn Villanueva, Fenix Walker, Aiden Blackwell, Daniel Carroll, Case Holcomb, Cecil Lessenberry, Jason Crocker, Eli Davis, Syerra Horton, Thomas Howard and Leonardo Ochoa.

The Intermediate Band includes Nevaeh Herris, Caitlin Umstead, Katelyn Martin, Finn Evans, Lily Baker, Jazmin Johnson, Sebastian Sass, Charles Scott, Riley Crafton, Hayli McSwain, Brycen Galicia, Meghan Cowan, Johnathan Jenkins and Billy Tabor.

The MHS Concert Band includes Kaylee Dalzell, Rachel Essary, Janyla Piro, Ethan High, Athena Chaput, Lola Barton, Miley Pruitt, Ramon Vazquez, Dylan Bomar, Ozzy Lessenberry, Nathan Lease, Caleb Burns and Connor Summers.

The MHS Color Guard includes Sadie Goff, Caylee McClerkin, Kaelyn Stebbins, Jordyn Leslie, Jaylee Montgomery, Savannah Lewis and Danie Parker.
