McKenzie Class of 1975 Holds Reunion

McKENZIE (September 20) — McKenzie High School Class of 1975 reunited to celebrate 50 years since graduation in 1975. The event coincided with the McKenzie Alumni Association’s annual reunion and the MHS Homecoming.
Class members gathered on Friday at the Decades Reunion held at Rebel Stadium during pre-game of the McKenzie-Camden football game. Then on Saturday, classmates and spouses gathered at the First Cumberland Presbyterian Church for lunch and to reminisce.
Class President Wendell Moore served as emcee of the event.
Brad Camp, representing the MHS Alumni Association, spoke briefly about the new organization and how to join.
During introductions, class members gave brief introductions plus a brief history of their lives.
A list of deceased class members was announced. A donation was given to the Alumni Association in the memory of those class members.
The deceased members are: Roy Anderson, Diane Dillahunty Barton, Donna Ramey Baskin, Mitchell Beasley, Ricky Blaylock, Doug Bush, Beverly Chesser, Jan Hastings Davis, Chuck Friend, Tommy Lankford, Darrell Marshall, Steve Mays, Daniel Mitchum, Kathy Gregg Patterson, Tony Poole, Johnny Pugh, Darrell Ross, Deborah Smoot, Steve Stafford, Sheila Walker and Gary Winston.

Paris Landing Arts and Crafts Festival is September 12-13
The 26th annual Paris Lakeway Kiwanis Club Arts and Crafts Festival at Paris Landing State Park features over 115 local and regional crafters displaying and selling their handmade and hand-crafted items.
