McKenzie Falls to Union City

McKENZIE (March 11) — McKenzie High School hosted Union City Tuesday for district tennis matches at the Bethel University courts.
The McKenzie players were swept in their singles and doubles matches, but four individuals managed game wins in singles play.
Lady Rebel Willow Arnold earned a game win in her match against Union City’s Bertie Jenkins.
Rebel Caleb Burke won three games against Byron Abbott, Rebel Davarion Gilbert took two games in his match with Paul Martin Tohn, and Rebel Owen Walker won a game in his match against Kobe Kirk.
The MHS girls fall to 0-3 on the season, while the boys move to 1-2.
This is the first season of MHS tennis in approximately two decades.
