McKenzie Industrial Board Elects New Officers
From the Nov 25, 2025 e-EditionMcKENZIE (November 20) — The McKenzie Industrial Board elected new officers for its Executive Committee during the November 20 meeting. John Wright was elected as chairman, Chuck Sisson as vice-chairman, and Mark Anderson II as secretary. The three will lead the appointed nine-member volunteer board, alongside Monica Heath, the full-time executive director.
These new officers replace Joel Washburn, the outgoing chairman, Ricky Price, the outgoing vice-chairman, and Dennis R. Coleman, the outgoing secretary, whose terms will end on December 31.
Mayor Ryan Griffin plans to submit three nominations to fill the vacant board seats at the McKenzie Mayor and Council’s December meeting. He intends to propose Chris Nelson, LaDona Herrin, and John Hodgson for six-year terms on the board.
During the November meeting, the Board also discussed the situation regarding Cachengo, the owner of the former McKenzie hospital building. The company’s future plans for the building, which has been used as a data center, remain unclear. Recently, Cachengo corporation replaced its local management officials, the Ash Young family. Local Cachengo employees have reported not being paid.
