McKenzie Interact Aids Those in Need

McKENZIE (November 26) — As part of their annual community service projects, the McKenzie High School Interact Club, in part with the McKenzie Rotary Club, donated food to United Neighbors in McKenzie. The soup and cracker drive also included other items that include Ramen noodles, protein bars other goods that would provided much needed nourishment within the community.
Interact clubs bring together young people ages 12-18 to develop leadership skills while discovering the power of Service Above Self. Interact clubs organize at least two projects every year, one that helps their school or community and one that promotes international understanding. A local Rotary club sponsors, mentors and guides Interactors as they carry out projects and develop leadership skills.
