From the Dec 2, 2025 e-EditionSimple Assault — Michael A. Smith, 28, Walnut Avenue, McKenzie, was cited for Simple Assault on November 30.
According to a report by Officer Daniel Pollard, Smith approached a subject in a threatening manner while the subject was in his car. Smith had a clenched fist and grabbed the subject’s shirt collar. The subject displayed a knife to defend himself.
A lady resident at the house insisted that Smith leave, which he did.
Vandalism — Dillon Edward Ray Gregory, 31, Park Cove, McKenzie, was charged with Vandalism on November 25.
Officer Matthew Cunnningham took a report from a female who stated that Gregory was her boyfriend. The two had a verbal dispute. She had left the house and when she returned, Gregory reportedly exited the house, rushed to the victim’s automobile, grabbed the window, and broke it. Gregory was cited into Carroll County General Sessions.
Driving on Revoked License — Casey Charles Hilliard, 37, Winchester Street, McKenzie, was charged with Driving on Revoked License and Failure to Maintain Lane on November 25.
Sergeant Cody Coleman stopped Hillard’s vehicle after witnessing the driver’s failure to maintain the lane. A check of the license revealed it was revoked. Hillard was cited into Carroll County General Sessions Court.
Driving on Revoked — Kieyren A. Jordan, 23, Drew Court, McKenzie, was charged with Driving on a Revoked License and Speeding on November 28.
Officer Dalton Raspberry stopped Jordan’s vehicle for speeding and then determined his license was revoked. He was cited into Carroll County Jail for booking.
