From the Apr 29, 2025 e-EditionDisorderly Conduct — Albert Richard Thatcher, 62, Hot Springs Arkansas, was charged with Disorderly Conduct and Public Intoxication on April 23.
Sergeant Cody Coleman responded to a retail store, where Thatcher was reported to be yelling and cursing outside the store and was advised to leave the premises. MPD officers responded to the scene, talked to the manager, and located Thatcher, who was reportedly uncooperative to the officers. He was arrested for charges as listed above and transported to Carroll County Jail.
Domestic Assault — David Curneal, 65, Murray, Kentucky, was charged with Domestic Assault on April 24.
Sergeant Cody Coleman was dispatched to Linden Street, where Curneal’s domestic partner claimed he assaulted her after she asked him to return to Murray. A verbal and physical altercation followed, according to the victim.
Criminal Trespass — Maurice Lawrence, 32, homeless, McKenzie, was charged with Criminal Trespass on April 24.
Officer Dustin McClure responded to Pocket’s convenience store, where Lawrence had entered the property several times overnight. He is banned from Pocket’s and several other businesses in McKenzie. He was transported to Carroll County Jail.
