Leaving the Scene of an Accident — Bryson Chandler Donald, Chattanooga, was charged with Leaving the Scene of an Accident With Damage on September 16.

Officers Sgt. Beauchamp and Patrolman Dillon responded to a McKenzie business, where a vehicle left the scene of a hit and run in the parking lot. A witness described the vehicle that departed the scene. Officers were able to locate the owner and the parked vehicle in McKenzie. Donald was charged with Leaving the Scene of an Accident, Failure to Surrender Auto License or Registration as required upon a driver’s license being suspended or revoked from a previous incident, and for operating an unregistered vehicle. He was cited into General Sessions Court.

Driving on a Suspended License First Offense — Jaylean Daquan McClerkin, Walnut Avenue, McKenzie, was charged with Driving on a Suspended License after surveillance video indicated he was the driver of a vehicle in which his passenger was charged with assault.

While working a reported assault case, Officer Timothy Dillon watched surveillance camera video from a convenience store that indicated McClerkin was operating the vehicle in which the assailant was a passenger. McClerkin’s license was suspended on December 7, 2023. McClerkin was issued a citation to report to Carroll County General Sessions Court to face the charge.
