From the Nov 4, 2025 e-Edition
McKENZIE (October 28) — The McKenzie Rotary Club teamed up with the Carroll County Carl Perkins Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse to support people who need food during the holiday season. The Rotary Club gave $500 to the Carl Perkins Center to help refill their food pantry.
The Baxter-Moore Fund, a benevolent branch of the Rotary Club, donated $500 to The McKenzie Banner. The local newspaper is running a non-perishable food drive and will give two rounds of food to the Carl Perkins Center—one before Thanksgiving and another closer to Christmas.
