NEW BUSINESS:
Consider for approval McKenzie SSD budget amendment(s) (24-25 year-end).
Tentative: Consider for approval Certified Tax Rate for 2025-2026 (MSSD Property Tax Rate).
Consider for approval 2025-2026 McKenzie SSD Budget.
Consider for approval 2025-2026 Consolidated Application, which includes the following grants: Title IA, II, III, & V under ESSA, IDEA Part B, IDEA Preschool, IDEA Discretionary & Carl Perkins. Authorizes Dr. Justin Barden, Director of Schools, as board’s representative to file this project application, and any subsequent amendments, addenda, correspondence, etc. pertaining thereto. Authorizes Ladona Herrin, Supervisor, as contact person for carrying out the duties associated with the Consolidated Application.
Consider for approval General Fund Expense Accounts for MES, MMS, MHS.
Consider for approval Dr. Justin Barden, Director of Schools, as district’s fiscal agent (necessary for state-required bonding purposes), and to sign all checks on all district and school accounts.
Consider for approval the following high school instructional fees for the 2025-2026 school year: Science Lab classes, $15; Computer, $5; Art, $15; TN Ready Test Prep, $5; Driver’s Education, $45; Cap and Gown, $75; STEM Class, $15; Health Science, $10; Health Science Scrubs, $40; English I Novel, $12; English III Novel, $12.
Student Professional Health Liability Insurance, $15.
Consider for approval the following middle school instructional fees for the 2025-2026 school year.
Science Lab classes, $10.
Consider for approval the following elementary school instructional fees for the 2025-2026 school year.
Kindergarten, $10; 3rd Grade, $10; 1st Grade, $10; 4th Grade, $10; 2nd Grade, $10.
Consider for approval contract with ABM Education Services for Custodial Services for 2025-2026 school year.
Discussion of Central Technologies proposals for intercom upgrades at MES/MMS.
