McKenzie Woman Recovering From Traffic Accident

McKENZIE (May 7) — A McKenzie woman is recovering after a two-vehicle accident on State Route 22 on the afternoon of May 7.
According to a report by the Tennessee Highway Patrol, Teresa S. Dillingham, 52, of McKenzie, was injured when her 2015 Jeep struck the rear of a tractor-trailer truck at the intersection of SR 22 and Rochelle Road near Carroll County Airport. The driver of the 2023 Freightliner was Derek David Freeze, 60, of California.
Traffic charges are pending against Dillingham, according to the report.
McKenzie Fire/Rescue, Carroll County Rescue Squad, Carroll County Sheriff Department, McKenzie Police Department, Tennessee Highway Patrol, and various brigades of the Carroll County Fire Department responded to the accident. Mrs. Dillingham was extricated from her vehicle and transported by Carroll County EMS.
