McKenzie High Hosts Eighth Grade Night

McKENZIE (March 13) — McKenzie High School hosted Eighth Grade Night Thursday in the gymnasium. Eighth grade students and their parents were provided with key information about what they can expect and what will be expected of them at the school beginning this fall.
Principal Kelly Spivey and guidance counselor Ashley Lowe spoke about requirements for graduation, specific credit requirements and fitting those requirements into a planned career path.
The school’s many clubs, activities and extracurriculars were represented at stations in the gym, as were several outside entities tied to education.
Represented were: MHS Yearbook, TCAT Henry/Carroll, Tennessee AP (Advanced Placement) Access for All, JAG (Jobs After Graduates), MHS Clubs, Carroll County Technical Center, MHS STEM, MHS Sports, DECA/Marketing, FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America), MHS Health Science, MHS FFA/Ag, Bethel University and MHS Fine Arts.
