McKenzie Middle School Donates 163 Clothing Items to Cash Express

McKenzie Middle School kicked off the month of December with the “Be a Goodie, Donate a Hoodie, Coat or Shoes” clothing drive for Cash Express.
From December 1 through December 9, students collected 163 items total to donate to Cash Express. Fifth-graders collected 69 items, sixth-graders collected 67 items, seventh-graders collected five items and eighth-graders collected 22 items.
The school positioned the clothing drive as a challenge amongst students, promising ice cream to the homeroom with the most donations. Josephine Wright’s sixth-grade homeroom students collected the most items for the clothing drive.

Paris Landing Arts and Crafts Festival is September 12-13
The 26th annual Paris Lakeway Kiwanis Club Arts and Crafts Festival at Paris Landing State Park features over 115 local and regional crafters displaying and selling their handmade and hand-crafted items. The setting at Paris Landing State Park provides visitors with great views while shopping. There will also be food and beverage vendors, as well as a petting zoo. Admission and parking are free.
