More Sports Coverage Online
From the Apr 21, 2026 e-EditionThis time of year, The Banner’s pages are saturated with spring sports most weeks (so long as the fickle West Tennessee weather cooperates). The sheer number of games happening in a given week is enough to make one’s head spin, between high school baseball and softball, middle school baseball, tennis, boys’ soccer, track and field and middle school volleyball. The Banner’s reporting staff makes a presence at as many sporting events as possible to capture the action on camera, often bouncing between multiple games in one day. On top of that, we gather scores and stats from as many other contests as possible, though we may not have been able to attend in person. The result is tons of content, and there are limits to how much can be included in the print edition. Luckily, the internet is more than big enough to hold all of that content. The Banner’s website, mckenziebanner.com, is updated daily with the latest sports results from our area teams. Check it out all spring long for coverage of your favorite teams!
