Local Musicians Featured in Historical Society's Next Meeting
From the Feb 17, 2026 e-EditionThe Huntingdon TN Historical Society will host Carl Byars and Donald Carnell in the club's next meeting on Wednesday, February 18. The two gentlemen, both musicians, will address the history of music in Carroll County.
Carl Byars, of Huntingdon, is a husband, father and grandfather. He is also a Huntingdon High School graduate. Byars is a member of the Cool Daddy Trio and plays vintage country and classic rock music.
Donald Carnell grew up in Clarksburg but currently lives in Horn Lake, Mississippi. He is a member of the Double Edge Band and plays old-fashioned country music.
The public is invited to attend this meeting and learn about the long history of music in Carroll County. The Huntingdon TN Historical Society meets at 9 a.m. on the third Wednesday of each month in the city conference room of City Hall in Huntingdon.
