Mustangs Trample Stewart County, 10-0

HUNTINGDON (March 17) — Huntingdon High School baseball hosted Stewart County Tuesday and dominated the Rebels on both sides of the ball for a 10-0 win in six innings.

The Mustangs scored one run in the bottom of the first, three in the second and six in the sixth.

Mustang Braylin Dearmon was 2-for-3 with a double, a walk and two RBIs. Kenton Smith was 1-for-2 with a walk, two RBIs and two runs scored. Hayes Eubanks was 1-for-4 with a double, three RBIs and two runs scored. Caleb Ezell was 1-for-2 with a walk, two runs scored and a stolen base. Maddox Holmes was 1-for-2 with a walk and two runs scored. Silas Sharp was 0-for-2 with two walks and an RBI. Kainan Moore was 0-for-2 with a walk and a run scored. Broox Bennett was 0-for-3 with a walk and an RBI.

Rebel Benjamin Hendricks was 1-for-3. Brayden Threatt was 0-for-1 with two walks.

Owen Kreuziger earned the complete-game, one-hit shutout for Huntingdon, walking three and striking out seven.

Collin Howell took the loss for Stewart County, allowing four unearned runs on three hits while walking two and striking out six. Benjamin Hendricks faced three batters, allowing three earned runs on three walks. Anthony Bisogno recorded one out leading up to the mercy-rule ending, allowing three earned runs on two hits while walking four and striking out one.
