New Head Coaches Welcomed to McKenzie

McKENZIE (May 18) — A meet and greet was held at the Hometown Hangout for two new head coaches at McKenzie High School. Dru Emerson, former assistant Lady Rebels basketball coach, was promoted to head coach. Coach Justin Lowery is joining the Rebels staff from Gibson Co. High School, where he has been head coach for the Pioneers basketball team since 2012. Lowery is the new head coach of the Rebels basketball team.
John Wilkins, former head coach of both teams, resigned to accept a coaching position in Middle Tennessee.
