Gleason, Tenn. - Funeral services for Nickey Allen Bowers, Jr. are Monday, September 30, 2024, at 11 a.m. at Sandhill Baptist Church, Gleason. The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 29, 2024, at the funeral home 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. Interment is at Sandhill Cemetery. The family has asked that memorials be made to the Sandhill Baptist Church Mission Fund.
Mr. Bowers, 52, died September 26, 2024, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. He was a member of Sandhill Baptist Church where he is the Music Leader and a deacon, head coach for McKenzie Shooting Sports and production manager at Lhoist North America (Spinks Clay) Gleason, Tenn.. He was born in Paris, Tenn. on December 20, 1971, to the late Nickey A. Bowers, Sr. and Linda Adams Bowers.
He is survived by his wife, Allison Jones Bowers, two sons, Nickey A. “Trey” Bowers, III and Barrett Bowers, all of Gleason, two brothers, Monte (Shelly) Bowers of Gleason, Jerry Lynn Kemp of Paris and two nephews, Seth Bowers and Caleb Jones.
