Northwest Tennessee Tourism Hosts Legislative Breakfast

UNION CITY (May 23) — Northwest Tennessee Tourism Association held its third annual Legislative Breakfast at Discovery Park in Union City.
The event featured two representatives from the Tennessee Department of Tourism Development, Debra Smith and Dennis Tumlin. Debra is the assistant commissioner of marketing and Dennis is the chief customer officer.
They spoke about the impact tourism has on the local economy.
State government officials were also featured speakers at the event.
They included State Representative Tandy Darby, District-76; State Representative Rusty Grills, District-77; State Representative Chris Hurt, District-82; State Senator Ed Jackson, District-25; and State Senator John Stevens, District 24.
Kasey Muench, NWTN Tourism Executive Director, welcomed everyone to the third annual event.
The event was sponsored by Total Tech Solutions, McKenzie Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Abbott’s Print Shop and Gibson Electric.
