Mrs. Watkins, 83, entered her heavenly home on November 18, 2025. With deep faith and a gentle spirit, Patricia lived a life rooted in love, devotion, and grace. Her passing leaves a tender space in the hearts of all who knew her, but her family takes comfort in the promise of eternal life and the knowledge that she is now at peace in the presence of the Lord. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church.
Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Watkins, with whom she shared many years of marriage and faithful companionship; her parents, Cawthan and Mable Swafford; and her sister, Martha Romero.
She is survived by her brother, Terry Swafford; her sister, Jacalyn Phifer; her son, Gary Watkins (Emily); and her daughter, Lisa Jones (Mark).
She was a proud and adoring grandmother to Andrew, Kyle, Chad, Sophie, and Emma, and a joyful great-grandmother to Curren, Shepherd, Reese, and Henry. Her family was her greatest blessing, and she carried each of them faithfully in her prayers.
Patricia will be remembered for her gentle spirit, compassion for others, and unwavering love for her family. She touched many lives with her humble heart and her quiet strength, always offering comfort, encouragement, and a welcoming spirit. Her gentle presence reflected the love of Christ and brought warmth to many.
Although she will be deeply missed, her family rejoices in knowing that she is reunited with her husband, Billy, and safely in the arms of her Savior. Her legacy of faith, love, and devotion will continue to shine through all who were blessed to know her.
May Patricia rest in everlasting peace, and may her memory be a reminder of God’s enduring love and the hope of eternal life.
