From the Dec 3, 2024 e-EditionMcKENZIE — A Funeral service for Paul Merwin, was Monday, December 2, 2024, at 10 a.m. at McKenzie First Baptist Church. Interment was at Bethlehem Cemetery, Henry.
Brother Paul “Bud” Merwin, 90, died at his residence on Thursday, November 28, 2024. He was born in Clear Lake, Iowa, on July 12, 1934, to Chauncey and Alice Merwin.
He is survived by his wife, Gwendolyn “Tillie” Merwin, a son, Jerome (Debbie) Merwin of Wright City. Missouri, a sister, Sara (Ed) Lyon of Memphis, three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, a son, Hershel Mark Merwin, and thirteen of his fourteen siblings.
