Mrs. Peggy Jo Cole, 85, of Huntingdon, Tennessee, died Monday, August 10, 2026, at Lakeside Senior Living in McKenzie.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, August 13, 2026, at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Liberty All Cemetery.

The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Thursday from 12:00 PM until the time of the service.

Mrs. Cole, daughter of the late Joe Franklin, Sr. and Myrtle Kirby Vickers, was born on April 16, 1941, in Huntingdon, Tennessee. She was an employment claims adjudicator for the State of Tennessee.  She was a lifetime member of First Baptist Church in Huntingdon and also a member of the Huntingdon Women's Club. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Cole; her brother, Joe Franklin "Bune" Vickers, Jr.; her sister-in-law, Regena Vickers; and a son-in-law, Michael Hill.

She is survived by two daughters, Melanie Blevins (Tim) of Franklin, Cindy Hill of Knoxville; a son, Chris Cole (Monica) of Huntingdon; eight grandchildren: Megan Arnett (Rob), Hunter Cole (Morgan), Logan Blevins (Shannon), Grant Blevins (Logan), Madison Hock (Colton), Jeremy Hill, Kirby Warren (Joey),  Emma Collins (Matt), as well as twelve great-grandchildren: Roman Arnett,  RyKard Arnett, Robin Arnett, Wells Arnett, Scottie Hock, Collins Hock, Declan Blevins, Brooks Blevins, Julian Blevins, James Blevins, Octavia Warren, Maverick Warren. She also leaves four beloved nieces: Jana Luther, Joy Raines, Jill Schmitt, and Gina Johnson.
