Photo Gallery of McLemoresville July 4th Parade (2023)

Attached is a gallery of photos of the McLemoresville, Tennessee July 4, 2023 parade.  The day's events include a parade, cakewalk, live band and fireworks - all in downtown McLemoresville.  Larry and Kay Elliott were the grand marshals of the parade. They own the oldest business in McLemoresville. - other than Carroll Bank and Trust, which started as Bank of McLemoresville.

The Veterans Honor Guard of Parkers Crossroads presented the American flag.

The parade had fifteen participant types: walkers, battery operated, tricycles, hoverboards, scooters, bicycles, go-carts, golf carts, dirt bikes, 4-wheelers, side-by-side rangers, jeeps, floats, autos, and horses.

Walkers — Charity Freeman, Ruthie, Providence, Jemima, Valor and Sinai won first. Karlie Kail won second, and Logan Plpin won third place.

Battery Operated — Everly Drasal won first, Samuel Everett won second, and Ellie Jo Everett and Caroline Campbell tied for third place.

Tricycles — Ivy Shaw won first place and Marlowe Temple won second place.

Hoverboard and Go-Carts — MaKenna Hollowell won first place on a hoverboard and Alex Caviness won first place on a go-cart.

Scooters — Fender Foster won first place and Easton won second place on scooters.

Bicycles — Caleb Martin won first place, Blaine Martin won second place, and Braydon Hilliard won third place on bicycles.

Golf Carts — Molly Drewry won first place and Addi and Ella Pugh won second place in Division I. In Division II, Jackson Church won first place; Easton Miller won second place; and Doug Williams, Ellie, Mia, Anna and Owen won third place.

Dirt Bikes and Jeeps — Gunner Martin won first place in dirt bikes, and Ainsley Worrell won first place in Jeeps.

4-Wheelers — Annaka Townsend won first place, Jessie Martin won second place, and Maddie Martin won third place in Division I 4-wheelers. In Division II, Bass Mitchell won first place, Ayden Taylor won second place, and Ty Hollowell won third place.

Side-by-Side/Ranger — Ronald and Doris Coker won first place, Tony Jones and Waldon Fisher won second place, and Angela Repko won third place.

Floats — Reedy Creek Baptist Church Youth (Annalise Porter, Kameron and Raylyn Darnes, Madison and Issac Myles, Larry Sharpe IV, Ezra Elmore, Camilla Jenkins, and Allison Myles) won first place. Big Bang Fireworks (Peyton, Faith and Holder Lindsey; Grace Coleman; Catelyn Croom; Kenson and Karlyn Keymon; and Taytum and Tyler Johnson) won second place. Austin and Kinsey Prater won third place.

Autos — Dale Prater won first place with a 1974 Road Runner. Dennis Bush won second place with a 1970 Mustang. Mia Triplett, Kensley, and Keleigh Martin won third place.

Horses — Kinley Grace Adams won first place with horse “Trader.” Shelby Faith Adams placed second with “Pistol.” Third place was a tie between Clay Fowler and his horse “Shine” and Corbin Fowler with “Perky.”

Carroll County General Sessions Court Judge Michael King and Tennessee State Representative Brock Martin also participated.

There were 94 total participants.
