McKENZIE (April 24, 2025) — Premier Furniture Company was officially welcomed as one of McKenzie’s newest businesses on April 24 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Tony Prince, who owns Premier, opened his third location earlier this year, with additional stores in Union City and Jackson.

The McKenzie Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosted the ceremony, attended by area business people, government leaders including McKenzie Mayor Ryan Griffin and Carroll County Mayor Joseph Butler. They, along with Monica Heath, the executive director of the Chamber, extended a warm welcome to Mr. Prince and Premier Furniture in McKenzie.

The new store is located at the former site of Williams Furniture Company, and former Williams’ associates Lisa Williams and Carter Deer will continue to serve as the sales and office manager, and delivery and sales personnel, respectively.

Premier Furniture offers a variety of well-known brand names, such as Ashley, Catnapper, Mayo, Best Home, Therapedic, Simmons, and Serta.

Business hours are Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Premier Furniture is planning a grand opening event for the third week of May.
