From the Mar 31, 2026 e-EditionChristy Walton (born 1949) is a billionaire Walmart heiress and is known for her high-profile political activism. As the widow of John T. Walton, son of Walmart founder Sam Walton, she inherited a significant portion of his fortune in 2005. She is recognized for funding political causes, including anti-Trump campaigns and promoting the “No Kings” protest movement against the Trump administration. Forbes estimates as of March 2026 she is among the wealthiest women in the world, with a fortune estimated in excess of $20B (with a B), stemming from her stake in Walmart and other investments. Just in case you didn’t know.
Now let’s shed some light on some of her rants.
More than 70% of those taken have no criminal conviction, she says. Aren’t they “Illegal Aliens”? What does “Illegal” mean? And what happened to Sponsorship? Although not required for all types of immigration, it is necessary for most family-based and many employment-based green cards. A sponsor (U.S. citizen or permanent resident) must file a petition, prove sufficient income to prevent the immigrant from becoming a public charge, and sign an affidavit of support. Most of the millions of people allowed in by the Trinamic Trio consisting of Autopen, Kamala and Mayorkas had sponsors, right? Yeah, right.
People have been deported to countries unfamiliar and unknown to them? So the United States was known and familiar? Methinks not. What’s the difference? Oh yes. Free $$$$ - Ours.
ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) Agents are sworn federal law enforcement officers. Sadly they have to be masked to protect their identities to keep their lives and the lives of their families safe. This destroyed property Miss Warbucks spoke of was not done by them. Rioters are the culprits. Not ICE, and certainly not “Peaceful Power”.
She doesn’t mention the Loyola University Chicago student who was shot in the back. An Illegal Alien who was released into the country by the Biden disadministration has been arrested and charged with her murder. Chicago Alderman Maria Hadden, who represents Loyola’s neighborhood of Rogers Park, said, “The big question from people is always the ‘why.’ And this why seems to have just been a senseless wrong place, wrong time tragedy.” Even the Chicago Tribune disagreed. Do they think that Renee Good and Alex Pretti up in Minneapolis were in the wrong place at the wrong time also?
Wonder what Christy’s opinion would be if she ever had to work for a living as opposed to marrying into a fortune? It’s easy to be self-righteous in her position.
