Rebels Cage Tigers on Senior Night

McKENZIE (March 30) — McKenzie High School hosted Hollow Rock-Bruceton Central Monday for a district soccer match and celebrated Senior Night. Six senior players were honored at halftime of the game, which the Rebels won 10-1.
Senior Rebels Jackson Cantrell, Morgan Christman, Aiden Mason, Cash Garner, Eli Vinson and Kadein Wimberly were recognized on the field, joined by family members and other supporters.
Following senior honors, McKenzie Middle School and McKenzie Youth Soccer League players were invited to the field to be recognized as well.
Rebel Wyatt Brewer had a hat trick (three goals) and a pair of assists. Jony Hernandez also had a hat trick. Aiden Mason scored a goal and had two assists. Morgan Christman had one goal and one assist. Liam Moore and Cole Harrison each scored a goal, and Kadein Wimberly had a pair of assists.
Tiger Michael Frederick scored Central's lone goal, assisted by Diego Zaragoza.
McKenzie goalkeepers Sawyer Nunnery and Brody Davis each recorded two saves.
Central goalkeeper Gavin Case had 23 saves.

McKENZIE (July 31) — McKenzie High School hosted Obion County Central Friday evening for an all-Rebel scrimmage at the MHS practice field. The host Rebels looked strong on both sides of the ball, especially during the varsity portion of the contest.
