Rebels Take Loss Against Lions

McKENZIE (April 19) — On Friday, the McKenzie Rebels baseball team took on the Dresden Lions. Despite a late rally, the Rebels couldn’t battle back against Dresden, falling 8-6.
Jake Cassidy started off pitching for the Rebels. McKenzie got on the board early when they scored four runs in the first inning. Dresden had one run until the fifth inning. There was a pitching change in the fifth inning from Cassidy to Tate Surber. At the top of the fifth Dresden scored seven runs which put them up 8-4. There were no runs in the sixth inning. At the bottom of the seventh Gage Crosland got a double that secured two runs. This was not enough to win the game and The Rebels lost 8-6.
