Rebels Celebrate Senior Night with Win
Coach Wall Picks Up 200th Win

McKENZIE (April 23) — On Tuesday, McKenzie hosted Gibson County for senior night. Despite a slow start the Rebels picked up the 4-3 win putting their record at 11-12 for the season.
Neither team was able to score until the third inning. Gibson County got the first two runs of the game which put the Rebels down 2-0 going into the fifth inning. During the fifth inning, McKenzie and Gibson County both got a hit. In the bottom of the seventh inning, the Rebels rallied scoring three runs. The seventh inning recovery secured Coach Wall’s 200th career win with a final score of 4-3.
Seniors for the McKenzie High School Baseball Team are Lane Anderson, the son of Joey and Autumn Anderson; Dawson Brush, the son of Krista Walters and Dean Brush; Jake Cassidy, the son of George and Angela Cassidy; and Hayden Garrett, the son of Heather and Hunter Garrett.
