Rebels Top Rockets in Season Opener

HUNTINGDON (February 26) — Clarksburg hosted McKenzie Middle School Thursday at Kelley Sports Complex to open the soccer season. The Rebels claimed an 8-3 win.
Rebel Aziz Jarju scored two goals and had an assist. Payton Cox and Anthony Navarro each scored a pair of goals. Lucas Wilson and Andres Hernandez each had one goal.
Rockets Jase Huey, Eli Derryberry and Aiden Fowler each scored a goal, and Eli Jordan had an assist.
McKenzie goalkeeper Javonte Piro had two saves.
Clarksburg goalkeeper Drayden Frensley had eight saves.
