Company Carrots
2 lb baby carrots
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1 teaspoon dry oregano
1/2 teaspoon salt
Put carrots in ungreased 9 inch square baking dish, add water and dot with butter; sprinkle with salt and oregano. Cover and bake 325 degrees for 1 1/4 hours.

Mississippi Beans
2 cans pork and beans
5 slices bacon
3/4 cup sugar
1/2cup cider vinegar
Cook bacon, remove from pan and set aside. Put beans into skillet with bacon drippings, add sugaer and vinegar; stir well. Simmer 30-45minutes until liquid has cooked down. When ready to serve, crumble bacon on top.

Peachy Yams
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 (17oz.) cans Yams
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1 (16oz.) peaches, sliced
2 T butter, softened
3 tablespoon flour
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1 1/2 cup miniature marshmallows
Blend together sugar, pecans, flour, nutmeg and cut in butter until mixture is like coarse crumbs. Arrange 2 cans of yams in 9x12 baking dish, pour the can of sliced peaches over the yams. Cover with the crumb mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes. The last five (5) minutes of baking time pour the marshmallows on top and bake uncovered.
