Egg Custard Pie
4 eggs
2/3cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups milk, scalded
1 pie shell, unbaked
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Put the eggs, salt, sugar, nutmeg and vanilla into mixing bowl.
Whip until sugar is dissolved and eggs lemon-colored. Add milk; whip until well blended.
Pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake for about 30 minutes or until done.

Orange Slice Cake
1 (7 oz.) package coconut
1 cup dates
1 cup margarine
4 whole eggs
2 cups pecans
1 1/2 cup sugar
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon soda
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 (12 oz.) pkg orange slices
Cut nuts, dates, orange slices in small pieces.
Mix with other ingredients and cook at 350 degrees until done, about 1 1/2 hours.

Plum Pound Cake
2 cups self-rising flour
2 cups sugar
1 cup Wesson oil or Crisco
2 small jars plum baby food
4 eggs
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup chopped pecans
Mix and pour in greased tube pan. Bake one hour at 350 degrees.
