Quick and Easy Cobbler
Melt 1 stick of butter in pan.
Mix 1 cup flour 1 cup sugar 1 cup milk 1 teaspoon baking powder.
Pour batter over butter in pan. Pour fruit over batter. Bake at 325 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes. Most any fruit will do. If using fresh or frozen fruit, sweeten to taste.

Chicken and Rice
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 can cream of celery soup
1 cup uncooked rice
8 boneless chicken breasts
Place rice in greased casserole dish and top with 3 soups already mixed together. Place chicken on top and dot each piece with butter. Bake, uncovered at 350 degrees for about 1 hour and 45 minutes.

Taverns
2 lbs ground beef
3/4 cup catsup
1 teaspoon chili powder
2 tablespoons prepared mustard
1 onion, sliced
Salt and pepper
1 cup water
Put all in a pot and simmer for about one hour. Serve, with a slotted spoon, on hamburger buns. This makes a great sandwich - like sloppy joe.

Praline Sticks
2 sticks butter
1/2 cup sugar
Bring these two ingredients to a full boil. Boil for 2 minutes. Place 12 graham crackers in 9x13 pan. After butter mixture has boiled, add 1 cups chopped pecans and pour over crackers. Bake in 325 degree oven for 9 minutes. Let cool and cut into squares.

Jello Pound Cake
1 box yellow cake mix
3/4 cup water
1 box Jello (small) strawberry, orange, lemon
3/4 cup vegetable oil
4 eggs (white)
Mix all together. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
