Everyday Cookies
1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup margarine
1 cup Wesson oil
1 large egg
3 1/2 cups plain flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon soda
1 teaspoon cream of tartar
1 cup oatmeal
1 cup Rice Krispies
1 cup coconut
1/2 cup chopped nuts
1 teaspoon vanilla
Mix together and chill. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet for 12-15 minutes at 350 degrees.

Toasted Buttered Pecans
1/2 pound pecan halves (2 cups)
1 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
2 tablespoons butter
Spread pecans evenly in a shallow baking pan. Sprinkle with salt and dot with butter. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.

Honey Orange Dip
2 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons orange juice concentrate
1 cup sour cream
Grated orange rind
Blend honey and orange juice. Fold into sour cream; add orange rind. Chill. Serve with Fresh fruit.

Catalina Beans
2 cans whole green beans
4 strips bacon
1/2 small bottle Catalina Dressing
Place green beans in casserole dish. Cover with bacon strips and dressing. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes.

Sour Cream Cookies
1/2 cup shortening
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
4 cups all purpose flour
1 teaspoon soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup (8 oz.) sour cream
In mixing bowl, cream shortening and sugar. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Combine flour, soda and salt. Add to creamed mixture alternately with sour cream. Mix well. Drop by teaspoon 2 inches apart on greased baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Yields about 5 dozen cookies.

Sweet and Sour Green Beans
2 cans green beans
1/2 pound bacon, cooked (reserve drippings)
1 finely chopped onion
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup vinegar, combined with bacon drippings
Mix all ingredients in crock pot and cook at medium heat for 2 hours.
Tuna Casserole
1 can tuna fish, drained
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 cup noodles
Sliced cheese
Cook noodles and drain. Mix noodles, tuna and soup. Put in casserole dish and cover with cheese slices. Bake at 350 degrees until cheese is melted.
