Baked Beans and Chops
2 16.5 oz. cans baked beans
6 rib pork chops, 1/2inch thick
1 1/2 teaspoon prepared mustard
1 1/2 tablespoon brown sugar
1 1/2 tablespoon ketchup
6 onions slices, 1/4 inch thick
Pour baked beans into bottom of greased slow cooker
Layer pork chops over beans. Spread mustard over pork chops.
Sprinkle with brown sugar and drizzle with ketchup. Top with onion slices.
Cover. Cook on high 4-6 hours.

Hawaiian Chicken
3 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
16 oz. can pineapple slices, drained
15 oz. can mandarin oranges, drained
2 tablespoon cornstarch
3 tablespoons brown sugar, packed
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
Combine all ingredients in slow cooker. Stir well. Cover. Cook on low 6-8 hours or on high 3 hours, or until meat is tender but not dry. Makes 6-8 servings.

Beef Pot Roast
4-5lb beef chuck roast
1 garlic clove, cut in half
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
1 carrot,chopped
1 rib celery, chopped
1 small onion, sliced
3/4 cup sour cream
3 tablespoon flour
1/2 cup dry white wine
Rub roast with garlic. Season with salt and pepper. Place in slow cooker. Add carrots, celery, and onion. Combine sour cream, flour and wine in small bowl. Pour into slow cooker. Cover. Cook on low 6-7 hours.

Spaghetti Sauce for Crowd
1 lb ground beef
1 lb turkey
1 tablespoon oil
5 15oz. can tomato sauce
3 6 oz. cans tomato paste
1 cup water
1/2 cup minced fresh or 3 tbsp dried parsley
1/2 cup minced fresh or 3 tbsp dried oregano
4 teaspoon salt
Brown meat in oil in skillet. Stir frequently to break up clumps. When meat is no longer pink, drain off drippings. Place meat in 6 quart slow cooker. (A 5qt cooker will work, but it will be brimful). Stir in remaining ingredients. Mix together thoroughly. Cover. Cook on low 4-6 hours. Makes 18 cups.
