Relocation of Utility Lines in Trezevant

TREZEVANT — Construction crews are relocating utility poles along U.S. Highway 79 east of Trezevant to accommodate the construction of the U.S. 79 bypass around Trezevant. Trezevant officials indicated the highway is projected to open in December 2025 and will bypass the Trezevant business district and school. Once completed, it will join the newly opened section of the bypass around Atwood.
