Renaissance Choir Hosts Worship Service for Bethel Freshmen
McKENZIE (August 16) — Bethel University's Renaissance Choir conducted the worship service for incoming freshman on Sunday. It's part of a period of orientation for the freshman as resident or commuter first-year students. The vocalists and musician accompanists provided a praise service in the Dickey Fine Arts Building (DFAB) at 10 a.m. Under the leadership of Megan Allen, vocalists showcased their talents through solos, small group performances, and as a whole choir.
Upcoming local worship performances include August 30 at McKenzie First Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 10 a.m., and Gleason First Baptist Church at 6 p.m. On November 22, the group will lead worship at McKenzie First Baptist Church at 10:30 a.m. The group also travels throughout a multi-state region.
