Ribbon-Cutting Marks Change of Management of Henry County Hospital

PARIS (November 7) — On November 7, over 300 attendees gathered at the West Tennessee Healthcare-Henry County Hospital (WTHHC) for a ribbon-cutting ceremony that marked a new chapter in healthcare for the community. Held in the hospital’s main entrance lobby, the event highlighted the importance of this new era in healthcare access and services. The county-owned hospital was recently leased by West Tennessee Healthcare.

The ceremony began with welcoming remarks from Tina Prescott, CEO of West Tennessee Healthcare, who provided an overview of the hospital’s impact and goals for enhancing community care. This was followed by an introduction of distinguished guests, including Bruce Reed, Chairman of the WTH Henry County Hospital Advisory Board; Vicki Burch, Chairman of the WTH District Board; and John Tucker, CEO of WTH Henry County Hospital.

Henry County Chamber of Commerce represented by Executive Director Leslie Henegar, led the official ribbon-cutting ceremony, symbolizing the hospital’s dedication to serving the community. The event concluded with opportunities for attendees enjoy refreshments and interact with hospital staff.

This significant gathering demonstrated the community’s enthusiastic support and anticipation for the continued services the hospital provides.
