— Funeral services for Richard Phillip Allen are on Monday, August 18, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Brummitt McKenzie Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 17, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Monday morning from 9:00 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery, Trezevant, Tenn..
Brother Richard, 75 years old, died on Friday, August 15, 2025, at Patriot Health and Rehab, Paris, Tenn. He was a retired mechanic for Tenn. Dept of Transportation and minister for Enon Missionary Baptist Church. He was born to Tommie and Artie Lisse Ervin Allen on May 8, 1950, in McKenzie.
He is survived by his wife, Patsy Noble Allen, sisters Betty Burke, Sarah Bartholomew and Kay (Charlie) Beal, brothers, Gene (Sally) Allen, William Allen, Jimmie (Liz) Allen, Thomas (Susan) Allen and Donnie (Jackie) Allen, three grandchildren, Amber (Blake) Alexander, Jacob (Mary) Allen and Savanna Murray and two great-grandchildren, Chance Alexander and Chase Alexander.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his children Amanda Murray and Jeremy Allen, sisters Helen Crowder, Pearl Gillette and Carolyn Roedel, and brother Howard Allen.
