From the Jul 15, 2025 e-EditionMrs. Rita Lynn Ross, 56, of McKenzie, died Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at 1 p.m. in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Bro. Lebern Allen officiating. Burial will follow in Beech Springs Cemetery in Gleason.
The family will receive friends in the Oakwood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Friday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Saturday from 10:00 AM until time of service.
Mrs. Ross was born March 25, 1969, in Martin Tennessee to the late Junior Perry and Lova Jean Perry, who survives. She was an LPN for Carey Counseling.
Along with her mother, Lova Jean Perry, she is survived by three daughters, Chasity Crafton (Johnny) of Bruceton, Jennifer Baine (Justin) of Henderson, Tennessee, Jordan Dew (Stephen) of McKenzie, one son, Matt Ross (Audra), of Henderson, Tennessee, and a brother, Sherman Perry, of Gleason. She also leaves her best friends Sandra Lewis and Wendy Paschall and eight grandchildren, Madison Blakeman, Evan Blakeman, Macie Sellers, Hunter Baine, Gabrielle Crafton, Gage Crafton, C.J. Dew, and R.L. Dew.
