From the Jun 17, 2025 e-EditionHUNTINGDON — Robert (Bert) Dilday III, 69, on Wednesday, June 11, in Phoenix, Arizona. A native son of Huntingdon, Tenn.,, the Dilday family owned and operated Dilday Funeral Home for many years. Bert's father, Bobby Dilday, owned the men's store, Dildays of Huntington, until he died in 1973.
Bert was preceded in death by his father, Bobby, his mother, Bette Warmack Dilday, and his sister, Debbie Dilday Measely.
Bert leaves behind two sons, Jefferson Mills, 42, of Eva, Tenn.,, Rob Dilday, 39, one daughter, Aja Dilday Neal, 35, and their mother, Sharon Price, all of Phoenix, Arizona.
He also leaves behind four young grandchildren, Lyric, Remi, Rhea, and Riley. Bert and Sharon moved to Phoenix in March of this year, residing with their daughter, Aja, and her husband, Evan Robison.
