Robert Low Donates $4 Million to Bethel University to Celebrate Family Legacy and Love for Education

McKenzie, Tenn. (April 1, 2025) — The administration and students of Bethel University are proud to announce a transformative $4 million gift from philanthropist and businessman, Robert Low and Prime, Inc. This generous contribution will support the University’s ongoing efforts to provide excellent academic programs and student experiences.
The Low family has long supported Bethel’s mission through philanthropy and service. Both Robert and his mother, the late Vera Low, previously served as Bethel’s Board of Trustees members. Robert’s most recent gift stems from his deep admiration for Bethel University, inspired by his mother’s enduring love for the institution.
"Bethel University held a special place in my mother’s heart. She had deep appreciation for this institution," said Low. "It is a privilege to give back to Bethel, ensuring that future generations of students have access to opportunities —whether through scholarships, academic excellence or extracurricular activities."
Bethel University President Perry Moulds expressed profound gratitude for Low’s generosity, emphasizing the gift’s far-reaching impact.
“This incredible gift from Robert Low is a testament to the power of love, legacy, and belief in the mission of Bethel University,” said Dr. Moulds. “His generosity will help us advance our commitment to academic excellence and student success. We are deeply honored and grateful for his support.”
