Rotarians Hear About ROTC

McKENZIE (April 8) — Colonel Bernard House, US Army, spoke about the ROTC (Reserve Officers’ Training Corps) program based at the University of Tennessee at Martin during the April 8 meeting of the Rotary Club of McKenzie.
Colonel House said the ROTC was his ticket to a college education and is available for students at area colleges and universities through the program based at UTM.
Students can leave college debt free, have health insurance and serve their country through military experience. There are currently two cadets attending Bethel University.
House served in Afghanistan and Iraq. Now he works with ROTC cadets at UTM.
