From the Feb 25, 2025 e-Edition
McKENZIE (February 18)— MaKenzie Harden, a member of the Bethel University Student Government Association Cabinet (SGA), was the speaker at the February 18 meeting of the Rotary Club of McKenzie.
Harden said the SGA has developed plans to construct a hammock circle, a project to install relaxing hammocks in a circular fashion for a student gathering area on the lawn of the local university.
Harden said the area will serve as a study area, picnic area, and area of relaxation for students. The total cost is estimated at $1,200. The SGA members would construct the project. Rotary pledged a monetary donation to assist in the construction.
