Rotary Honors Veterans

McKENZIE (November 5) — In honor of Veterans Day, Junior Milam, a veteran of the war in Iraq and Afghanistan, presented a program on being a veteran and honoring patriotism. As part of his program, Milam read the poem Remember Me by John Dirusso.
Rotarian Armand Hebert presented each Rotarian with a challenge coin, a token used to recognize dedication or service, asking them to give the coin to a veteran, living or dead, in honor of their service.
Club Vice President Ricky Price presented club military veterans Dennis Sutton and Hebert with medallions recognizing their service.
