From the Aug 6, 2024 e-EditionMrs. Ruth Ann Rhodes, 78, of Huntingdon, died Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at her home.
A memorial visitation are Saturday, August 3, 2024, 4 to 8 p.m. in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home.
Mrs. Rhodes was born June 12, 1946, in Clarksburg, to the late Horace Dudley and Virginia Eudine Roark. She retired from teaching in the Huntingdon Special School District. She was a member of Huntingdon First United Methodist Church and the Carroll County Retired Teachers. She was also preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Judy Roark.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, David Rhodes, a son, Jonathan Rhodes, of Westport, a daughter, Jaclynn Rhodes, of Chattanooga, a sister, Nancy Rush, of Clarksburg, and two brothers, Randall Roark, of Clarksburg, and Thomas Roark, of Chattanooga. She also leaves two grandchildren, Elysia Rhodes and Stephen Rhodes-Clonts.
