PAID ANNOUNCEMENT
Ryan White Announces Candidacy
From the Dec 9, 2025 e-Edition
Ladies and gentlemen, family, friends, neighbors, and fellow citizens of Carroll County — My name is Ryan White.
It is with great honor, humility, and commitment to service that I officially announce my candidacy for Carroll County Sheriff.
I was raised with a deep belief that a strong community is built on trust, respect, and a shared responsibility to care for one another. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of serving as McKenzie Police Chief and witnessing firsthand the resilience and pride that make our county such a remarkable place to call home.
But like many communities across our nation, we face challenges—challenges that require leadership rooted not in politics, but in integrity, transparency, and accountability.
I am running for Sheriff because I believe:
• Our families deserve to feel safe in every corner of this county—day and night.
• Our deputies deserve strong leadership, proper training, and support to do their jobs with excellence.
• Taxpayers deserve responsible stewardship of resources and clear communication from their Sheriff’s Office.
• And every person—no matter who they are—deserves to be treated with fairness, dignity, and respect.
My vision is simple:
To uphold the law with honor.
To protect our communities with compassion.
To build a Sheriff’s Office that works with the people, not apart from them.
We will strengthen community policing, improve drug prevention and enforcement efforts, enhance school safety, and ensure that victims of crime are never left without a voice. We will modernize our tools and training—without losing sight of the values that make us who we are.
This campaign isn’t about one person.
It’s about all of us.
It’s about building a safer, stronger future for Carroll County.
I am asking for your support, your prayers, and your involvement. Together, we can create meaningful change. Together, we can ensure every family in Carroll County feels protected, supported, and proud of the sheriff’s office that serves them.
From the bottom of my heart—thank you. Let’s move forward—united and determined—to make a difference.
My name is Ryan White, and I’m running to be your next Carroll County Sheriff.
Paid for by Ryan White for Sheriff. Carrie Hollowell, Treasurer.
