McKENZIE, Tenn. - Funeral services for Sally Martin are Sunday, November 17, 2024, at 2 p.m. at Brummitt McKenzie Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Sunday, noon until service time. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, McKenzie.
Ms. Martin, 71, died Sunday, November 10, 2024, at AHC of Paris. She was born to Ray and Frances Johnson Martin on May 25, 1953.
A graduate of McKenzie High School (1971), Bethel College, and the University of Tennessee at Martin, she was a Special Education teacher until her retirement. She was a member of First Baptist Church in McKenzie and was also an avid Atlanta Braves fan.
She is survived by her only sibling, a sister, Mona (Steve) Batchelor of McKenzie, an adored nephew, Maxwell (Lydia) Batchelor of Atlanta, and many cousins and extended family members. She is preceded in death by her parents.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made in Sally’s memory to McKenzie High School Alumni Association, 114 West Bell Avenue, McKenzie, TN 38201.
