Sandra J McMahen Obituary

McKENZIE, Tenn. — Mrs. Sandra Walker McMahen, 84, died at Cherrywood Post Acute on Thursday, December 18, 2025. A Celebration of Life for Mrs. McMahen will be held after the holidays at the First United Methodist Church in McKenzie. She will be interred in the Walkerville Cemetery in Magnolia, Arkansas.

Mrs. McMahen was born in Connecticut on February 17, 1941, to Wayne and Reba Irene Hider Walker, and grew up in St. Albans, Vermont. Mrs. McMahen is a graduate of Boston University with a degree in Music Performance. During her time in McKenzie, she has been involved in productions and concerts at Bethel College, given private piano lessons, and served as the organist at McKenzie First United Methodist Church. She received a bachelor’s degree in business from Bethel College and worked at H&R Block for several years. Mrs. McMahen was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the Inglenook Book Club.

She is survived by her daughter, Kimberly McMahen and her significant other, Clark Brown, both of McKenzie.

Mrs. McMahen is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Rowe Gene McMahen.
