Senior Day at the Fair

HUNTINGDON (August 8) — Senior Day was Thursday at the Carroll County Fair. Inside the civic center, senior citizens enjoyed fun, fellowship and music.
Games were played, door prizes were given and many vendors were on hand.
Carl Byars served as Master of Ceremonies for the event.
Local band Crooked Creek provided music. Members are Dale Cooper, Lloyd Lewis and Max Bybee. Byars also sat in with the band for some sets.
Billy Smith was crowned King, and Robye Lindsey Queen.
Lindsey also won the award for oldest woman present at 97, while Ovalle Wilks, 94, was the oldest man.
Thai Saul won the award for Prettiest Legs, while the Ugliest Legs trophy went to Bobby Pate.
